Bazooka Boy is a physics-based Trajectory-Puzzle and Structural-Destruction game. The main idea is "Projectile-Environment Interaction," where players use high-explosive rounds to trigger structural collapses. It centers on the logic of using physical destruction to neutralize targets that are shielded from direct line-of-sight, rewarding players for calculating the optimal "Impact Point" for maximum collateral damage.

You control a character armed with a bazooka on one side of the level. Your goal is to eliminate all enemies, who are often standing on platforms or inside buildings. Interaction involves dragging to aim your trajectory and releasing to fire. You must account for "Destruction Physics" - instead of shooting an enemy directly, you might shoot the base of their tower to make it fall. Each level provides limited ammo, requiring you to maximize the "Kill-Yield" of every shot.

Improving your score depends on "Base-Joint Targeting." Do not aim for the top of structures. Target the "Load-Bearing Pillars" or TNT barrels at the bottom. A reliable strategy is to utilize the "Shell Ricochet" - certain surfaces allow your projectile to bounce, letting you fire into tunnels or around corners to hit targets that are otherwise unreachable by a straight-line shot. Finishing a level with "Spare Ammo" provides a large score multiplier.
